Welcome to our floating home on Taggs Island in the beautiful River Thames near Hampton Court Palace.
We offer B&B accommodation in 3 rooms, 2 on the lower deck and 1 on the upper deck. All rooms have ensuite facilities.
We have one double room free for the Hampton Court flower show week, available on a week booking only
All rooms have ample room for two guests; the upper deck double room being particularly comfortable. Riverine is a custom built house boat not a converted life boat or coal barge. It is cool in the Summer and warm and dry in the Winter.
Free wireless Internet access is available in all rooms.
Unlike most islands on the Thames, Taggs Island has a proper road bridge and Riverine has its own car park (although it is not fond of 4 wheel drive monsters)
The Thames at Taggs Island is not tidal and the river level only varies slightly. The boat does move a little, but nothing like a boat on the sea. You will not be seasick!
All rooms have electric heating which keeps them warm and cosy in the winter.
Our insurance precludes us from accepting children under 12, sorry.
Access for wheelchairs is very limited.
We cannot easily cater for pets.
